ATOI have invited the curators of Rituals Are Tellers Of Us to bring a capsule of the show from Cornwall to London, showing a selection of works by Tereza Bušková and Matthew Cowan.

Museums at Night, Newlyn Art Gallery Mummers: Newlyn Art Gallery, 8pm Friday 17th May – 8am Saturday 18th May. Bar open 5pm – 12 midnight.

Come join our merry band of revellers and help write a script, make props and sew costumes in readiness for a very singular performance of this ancient form of folk play. Create masks and garlands with the curators of Rituals Are Tellers Of Us. Private View: Newlyn Art Gallery, Friday 3rd May 7.30 – 9pm.

The exhibition will open with a celebration of the rituals of spring including folk dancing from Hevva and Beltane food and drink. Gallery Members are invited to join the MA Curatorial Practice students in a walk and talk through the exhibition at 6.30pm before it opens to the public. Free.
